Sondra has been exploring various ways to translate people’s memories, stories, emotions, and/or events with her art. With a focus on “Still Life Portraits” (still life paintings created using personal objects supplied by the client), Sondra creates a painting in which each object in the arrangement represents a different memory, story, emotion, and/or event. The result is a powerful “portrait” in which memories are made visible, and the spirit and life of its subject is honored.
